ISME unveils nationwide Spring Business Bootcamps
The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) has announced its Spring Business Bootcamps for the nation’s small firms, held across the country for the next six weeks.
The workshops are designed to aid owners and managers of small and medium-sized businesses by providing sharp, practical and essential tools and templates to take their business in the right direction.
Mark Fielding, chief executive of the ISME, said: “We are pleased to partner with some of the most progressive chambers and county enterprise boards in presenting these Bootcamps.
“The three hour sessions are ideal for the busy, time-poor, business person, who will come away with new ideas to boost their business as well as practical new tools and templates to guide them to profit.”
The Bootcamps will include insightful discussion from speakers, Bernie Tracey and Jason McChesney, both of whom have vast experience in running small businesses and squeezing the full potential from business situations.
“Topics will include attracting and retaining new customers to grow your customer base, targeting the sales efforts, managing the pipeline and most importantly, getting paid in full and on time,” said Fielding.
“The session will kick off with an ISME overview of the real economy, telling the facts, busting the myths and setting the scene for the gradual resuscitation of the SME business scene.
“As a country, we need new ideas and a return to proper and prudent management of our businesses. These sessions have been designed to stimulate ideas and give sound advice on how to manage successfully and profitably, with the added bonus of templates to take away for practical use in day to day business.”
Business owners that wish to book a place at the Business Bootcamps can visit the ISME Skillnet and register. The events are free for ISME Skillnet members and cost €35 for non-members.
