The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association (ISME) has unveiled its upcoming Autumn Business Briefing Sessions for small business across the country.
The sessions are targeted at SME owners and managers, offering practical and essential insights into the Irish economy to enable small firms to grow and prosper.
Mark Fielding, chief executive, ISME, said: “The economy is slowly starting to move in the right direction and businesses are busy planning for the future.
“The three hour sessions (funded by Skillnets) are ideal for the busy, time-poor, business person, who will come away with new ideas to boost their business as well as practical new tools and templates to guide them to profit.
“These free sessions have been designed to give sound practical advice and to stimulate ideas on how to manage successfully and profitably, with the added bonus of meeting the experts to give practical advice for use in day to day business.”
The sessions cover a range of topics, all of which are extremely relevant to small business owners, including Business Succession; how to tender for new business; how to improve efficiency within the business; details of the new Companies Act and Workplace Relations Act and how they affect SMEs.
